Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 70, 1970) is an American former football tight end. Gonzalez was a player in the National Football League from 1997 until 2003. One of America's top tight ends ever and holds the NFL record for most receiving yards of all tight ends. He also ranks third in all time for the amount of receptions.

A former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Since the start of the 2017 NFL season, Gonzalez has been a fixture in FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX's hour long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez, who had said he'd retire at the end 2013 season, agreed on March 15 to sign a 2-year, $14million contract to remain with the Falcons. Randy Moss retiring, Gonzalez's 37th season marked his final as NFL receiving yard leader.
